Toyotetsu Data Breach Settlement

UNITED STATES DISTRICT COURT
EASTERN DISTRICT OF KENTUCKY
Case No. 6:22-CV-00106

If You Previously Received a Notice about a Data Security Incident Involving Toyotetsu, You Could be Eligible for a Payment from a Class Action Settlement

A Court has authorized the Notice. The Notice is not solicitation from a lawyer.

•You may be eligible to receive a payment from a proposed $400,000 class action settlement.
•The class action lawsuit concerns the October 2021 data security incident of Toyotetsu North America, Inc. (“Toyotetsu” or “Defendant”) in which it was determined that an unauthorized third party may have gained access to certain Toyotetsu files containing sensitive personal information for a number of individuals including names, date of birth, mailing address, or Social Security numbers (Data Incident or Data Breach). Toyotetsu denies that it did anything wrong and disputes that it has any liability but has agreed to settle the lawsuit on a class wide basis.
•To be eligible to make a claim, you must have received a notice letter of the Toyotetsu Data Breach that occurred in October 2021.
•Eligible claimants under the Settlement Agreement will receive $250 (subject to a pro rata increase or reduction based on the amount of claims received). Claimants can receive further compensation for the actual amount of unreimbursed out-of-pocket losses up to $5,000, with supporting documentation to prove the monetary losses.
•For more information or to submit a claim click HERE or call 1-800-935-5170 Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Central Daylight Time.

Please read the Notice carefully. Your legal rights will be affected, and you have a choice to make at this time.
